The tuition depends on different schools in different area. Normally, big cities will be more expensive. It could be anywhere from 15,000 to 25,000, and it also denpends on your subject.
I believe your major is not bad, you can make big money if you do well. I don't know which level you are talking about, the bachelor or the master. I would recommend you pick up a college where you can get more practical knowledge and it's easier to get going after your graduation right away. BUT, remember, in Canada, most of the resident buildings are built by wood products, not bricks and concrete in China.
